Polybridge Training: Company Profile & Services

A Legacy of Innovation: 50 Years in the Making

At the heart of Polybridge is our Director, David Jeavons, whose career spans over five decades of industrial evolution.

David’s journey began in 1969 at GKN Sankey’s Plastic Division, then the pinnacle of European moulding technology. From the early adoption of Unimate robotics to the development of Structural Foam (TSG) and Thermoset technologies, David has been at the forefront of every major shift in the industry.

His experience transitioned from the shop floor to high-level research at RAPRA (now Smithers), where he pioneered rapid tooling and heat transfer investigations. This was followed by a pivotal role with The Ford Motor Company, implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) across their global supply chain, and later as Technical Manager for NETSTAL UK.
